Greater Noida and Its Seamless Connectivity: Reason to Reside in the City

Greater Noida is increasingly turning into a preferred home destination among families, and for all the good reasons. The city is one of the most thoughtfully planned cities in the state, with a strong emphasis on preserving nature, quality of living, and infrastructure. As a result, it offers everything families could ask for to lead a stress-free and satisfying life.

While the infrastructure, quality of life, and environment do play a major role in making Greater Noida a preferred home destination, its seamless connectivity to NCR and beyond is unarguably too important to ignore. It is connected to Noida, Delhi, and Ghaziabad from all sides, allowing families to travel to other parts of NCR via public transport or personal vehicle for work or leisure conveniently.

Greater Noida and Connectivity to NCR and beyond

NCR is big, comprising Greater Noida, Noida, Ghaziabad, Delhi, Gurugram, and Faridabad. Even though Greater Noida is a recently developed city—considered an extension of Noida—it is easily accessible from Ghaziabad, Noida, and Delhi. It takes hardly 20 minutes using public transit to reach Noida or Ghaziabad and an additional ten minutes to Delhi. There is also an extending metro line, from Noida sec 51 to Depot in Greater Noida, connecting Greater Noida to the rest of NCR.

The development of the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway also paved the way for seamless connectivity between the two cities. Using the expressway, anyone can travel to Noida or Delhi in less than half an hour, depending on the traffic. It runs along the Yamuna expressway, which shortened the distance between Delhi and Agra significantly. Greater Noida also shares its connectivity to Mathura, Agra, and Aligarh through the expressway.

The Greenfield Connectivity

Union road transport and highways minister Nitin Gadkari recently told the press that the proposed Delhi-Mumbai Expressway will be linked to the Yamuna Expressway, extending to the proposed Jewar Airport in the next two years. This link, referred to as Greenfield connectivity, will offer direct access for those headed or leaving the airport to the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway.

The link will begin from Ballabgarh on the extension between KMP Expressway and DND Flyway in Delhi, offering direct connectivity to the National Capital Region. And Since Greater Noida lies in the middle of these links, it will have even better connectivity to NCR and Easter Uttar Pradesh in the future.
